gaz i ment my vmaxx coilovers, being low budget 1's
so when i have the spax fitted by Danny they will feel miles better, than the low budget set up i have at the moment,
i should of worded it a bit better, :approve:.
and jon, no mate the car will be staying on the road.
cant wait for the spax, time to get some PROPER coilovers,
then the orbisoud system,
and maybe 50/50 i might treat myself to a nice pair of trendlines,
then thats it,
i got intouch with Danny a couple of weeks back, just to let him know i'll be droppin in
a week or two after the new year for a set of spax the full coilover set,
its time for an upgrade from the vmaxx, and time to move on from the miltek decat, i'm
now after a orbisoud system, just think...
my mate has a 172cup, today he noticed his front coil spring has snapped at the bottom,
were it sits in the cup on the strut,
a good while ago i fitted vmaxx coilovers to mine, so i have a spare front set of springs, i just
want to know if they are the same size,
thanks.
my set up is getting worse as time goes on, so i'm gonna have a day off this week and have a look at the rear passenger side, thats were mine is knocking+banging ,
so i'm gonna jack the clio up and whip the back wheels off, and whip the shock+spring out. i think it could be my vmaxx
shock that...
spotted it at tea time on pall mall, it sounds fantastic too,
it has v6 trophy spoiler, i think v6 trophy wheels and i think
by the sound of it a v6 trophy exhaust, it really does sound nice though
it was a the fcs if any of you lot spotted it,
hello people,
just want to see if theres anyone on here that as took the adjusters off there rear springs at the
rear with vmaxx set up, and also took front arches out to get that bit more of a drop from the coilovers
you see i have still got my 182 wheels on, and cant go that low without it...
great work there vicky+ben
i'm toying with the idea of getting a 1.9 soon myself,
see what i can get for around 3-4k.
dont fit carbs onto it though vicky
get it back to the originality it once was.
marcus.
thats what i'll be after a totally 100%
standard. even the old clareion tape cassett.
just looking at piston heads before and spotted this ,http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?i=3164124&noPics=3&make=RENAULT&model=RSCLIO&imgsrv=1&trade=0¤t=3
he wants a fast sale and its advertised at £500
he is in need of cash quick.
it was a ph1 it had been resprayed, sorry iv should of said,
and yes i know mondail blue was a 172cup colour, and silver.
daniel they didnt do ph1 in monaco blue, correct me if im wrong,
you cant see the springs, coz your looking down on the kit, and they have
stud the springs up, so they just look like another set of washers, but the
springs are there, iv just looked and i can see them,
there at the top of the pins, if you have another look.
chris try your standard rubber bushes mate, and makesure you really tighten it all up good style,
the vmaxx bushes are abit small for my liking,
but i know what you mean about not feeling safe at all,
feels like the back end is ready to drop off,
i fitted my standard bushes back on, just had to drill the washer out a little, so they would slide over the tread,
and that made a big difference, it took 90-95% of the knocking/banging away,
mine are coiled up aswell and its not even sat on the floor,
its still on axel stands, tbh the springs are not that good,
but as soon as it was back on the deck, with wheels back on
they coiled right up tight,
just like dr jekyls
