gaz has pretty much summed up what i was going to say, yes cups offer the raw driving experience and are a pleasure when hooning around, but if you are coming from a 197 you may miss the creature comforts of that in time. Both are great cars mind but for slightly different reasons. PS cup ftw lol.
This thread is spot on tbh...with out days/drive's like this you can quickly lose sight of why you actually bought the car in the first place like you said or why you are building up a project.
Very interesting read dude, having used both quite alot in the past i do prefer Titanium, however both a great waxes and there isnt too much to separate them imo. It will be good to see how you get on with both, and see what conclusion you come to.
Re: My 172 Cup (T5MY G) Gaz Coilovers/Ktec mounts & decat! Back in a clio :)
Great progress mate, i need to sort my engine mounts out too! Are those mounts from ktec dude?
Re: Which model Clio do you prefere and why?
200. However the williams (a decent example anyway) will allways be a classic.
The above looks pretty sick actually i like it.
Titanium is an excellent wax imo and does have very good durability 'in the real world', however i would say to bite the bullet and spend the extra and go for Glasur...it really is a quality product.
I know you have said your not too interested in glasur but it blew me away when i used mine for the first time, its seriously good mate!! Zymol titanium is another great wax from their range and is very durable too.
