Sell your 172 and buy a citroen C1. Cheap as chips, you can pick 'em up for 5500 new. Forty quid a year to tax, group 1 insurance, 50MPG, great laugh to drive, engine sounds nice - 3 cylinder chirp, but it and a big but it ain't a 172, it's an a - b car.
