Some times moisture can affect the igniter. I have this issue in heavy rain.

Best place I have found http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/ In order to know if it was the bulb, was the light pink in colour before it died? If so It is the bulb. And whilst you have the bumper off, I'd change both the bulbs at the same time.

I had to take my front bumper off. Others will say you won't need to. Good luck.
