Hi,
Been reading up on this, apparently it cannot be done.
Using server 2003 R2 with exchange.
Is this true?
Currently I am copying the contacts from the shared contact list to my personal list.
Many thanks,
Gabi.
At the time, this pioneer was the b****cks and I bought it for just over 2k.
Now, LCD's are closer, but I would still get a pioneer..... gorgeous colours and blacks.
Don't these music channels that have the constant logo on the channel realise people with plasmas suffer slight image burn.
Why don't they shift the stupid logo every so often or just have an option to remove the logo if you wish!!!!
I know most new TV's have pixel shift technology, however...
I recon a new media center will be released by apple.
They are really lacking in that market at the moment, if they did release something, it would be truly great.
For that price, you cannot complain.
To a normal user, AMD or Intel is not going to make the slightest bit of difference.
All these new machines are way overkill for the typical net, word and excel user......
We had an external company that used to look after all the stuff, we don't anymore.
We have virus scan 8.5 , but I can't find ePO anywhere and neither have I used it before.
All I can find on the server is the console, on access can, on access demand.
To top it off, the accounts don't know...
Sorry, did not explain myself, that's for the two years :)
Apparently there are different endpoint packages, will email the lady and get everything documented.
:)
I will check it out then.
So much to fix in this place.
:)
All good fun.
Cost is always a huge thing.
I want to be able to manage everything through one console and force the installation through GP or alternative.
Excellent stuff, love this forum.
Thanks,
Gabi.
Hi,
The time is coming up to renew.
Currentrly use VirusScan Enterprise 8.5.0i
Installed on around 100 desktops and 6 servers.
Would you recommend carry on with this, or change to an alternative?
Please note, local machines are XP Pro. Servers are 2000 and 2003 r2.
Something like...
Hi,
2003 R2 I think,
Some servers here have 2000, some 2003 R2, one office is just a workgroup, all a mess, all good fun :)
Ideally, I would like to have 2003 R2 all round.
2 servers per site AD etc.
2008 looks great, but for AD 2003 should be fine, specially to meet our requirements...
Cheers Daz,
I have some Dell 1650's running with 2gig of ram, they are on a raid 5 config, 10k drives, they should be ok then for DC's.
I will then get some new servers for other stuff,
If you spec them up all day long, will give you a shout :)
Quite like HP's DL380's but for a company...
I pressume for a DC a minimum spec will do really,
All they are going to be doing is AD, DHCP and DNS, therefore two servers per site with single processors running at 2.4GHz with minimum of 512 should be fine......
It's interesting, because everyone thinks completely different :)
Wish...
