Sorry. Didn't explain myself properly.
You need exchange 2007 sp1 for it to install on 2008 :)
Apologies , didn't mean windows 2008.
Regarding 32 bit, yap only in a testing environment, it's a little Fucker in regards to how much ram it needs :(
Looking forward to testing it out...
Yap only 64 bit and requires at least SP1 for 2008, however, I have read there are some complications and configurations are required on the host file??
Did you guys have to do this?
Plus, it's going to be a single box solution, only small company.
Thanks,
G.
Hi,
This is the idea.
http://www.jameshallam.co.uk/networkDesign/
I have re-thought the requirements and realised I want an easy implementation and thus, a single domain will be implemented. Thus, please ignore the sub domains. Therefore, single domain, multi site scenario will be...
CCNA - what's that
Nah, for work, want to redo the network.
Unsure if to use the above or
10.1.10.x /24 - Site A
10.1.20.x /24 - Site B
10.1.30.x /24 - Site C
:)
Subnets, got to love it .
Dear All,
I am unsure how to implement such a thing, would someone kindly shed some light on the matter?
Baring in mind there are 3 sites, VPN'd, 2003 network with XP pro.
Any information really appreciated,
Thanks,
G.
To be fair, I think he meant ask on there instead of this forum. As people would be more knowledgegable in that forum as it's dedicated area.
However, it does not mean that we don't have some specialists here.
Thanks,
Gabi.
ok, not getting a message saying
550 5.7.1 unable to relay for .............
(also checking out google, think this might be handy for someone if they did a search on here)
Hi,
Been blacklisted.
NAT firewall.
One external IP.
Blacklisted by 4 separate companies.
Thus some of our clients not receiving our emails.
Running exchange on one server.
I have modified the firewall configuration as follows,
allowed port 25 to exchange server
deny port 25 to all...
Nope!!!
That's the thing, big f**k ups, but it's so hard trying to change everything whilst doing everything else!!!!
When I change it, that's going to mess up the VPN's, exchange, the relays (printer scanning) and so much!!!!
Hate it !!!!
Don't think the people knew what reserved ranges...
Awesome, will give it a go, maybe tomorrow,
I have one office with a workgroup of around 40 computers, lets see how I get on with that, don't ask!!!
Thanks again :)
I hope performance is much better, mcafee really slows it down
steps to take?
Removing mcafee?
Installation on all machines via GP or do it through the console?
min spec of console server 2000 server with SP3 and 512ram, in normal user terms, does the spec need to be a lot more?
:D
Hi,
After everyones comments, I decided to purchase sophos endpoint for the company,
Just about to install it and remove mcafee,
Any recommendations or thoughts?#
Just downloaded the enterprise console.
Thanks ever so much,
G.
We have leased printers.
Stupidly expensive.
You have the printer, toner and maintenance provided for.
However, anything over the excess is charged.
Thanks,
G.
