Cars looking good.
Have a little look at my video from Donington last year with some Radicals and V6 cups, they are a nightmare if there are too many (like my day)
Aprilia shiver 750 had it 6 years now, had a couple of sv650s and a CBR600 over the years.
I borrowed a KTM RC8 a while ago for a few days and although it was a good bike it was just not useable at normal speeds.
Can't you keep the car and get a older 600?
Be a shame if you did get rid of it after all this work but the BMW is nice.
Which one would you get the most use out of, and when did you last ride a bike on the road?
I don't like riding on the road now as much as I did (I only done 16 miles from my last MOT to the latest one Saturday)
A would be the best as it is directly in front, don't worry about them being bright because when you are concentrating on the track they don't seem to bad, and you want to see them without looking down.
I have done a few more bits over the last few months (more practical things)
As I did not know what the oil was doing I thought it would be a good idea to get a gauge so got a SPA oil temp and oil pressure gauge.
While I was going to fit that I got a 13 row oil cooler, now me being me I did...
What is the rough cost for all the bits that need doing? I can't weld ally as we only have a DC TIG welder.
What's the differences between the AC and non AC Clio rads is it just the mounting bracket for the condenser?
@Arran_ do you have any photos of it fitted, and did you use the standard fan?
@Grats the golf one needs modding doesn't it?
Some 10mm pegs need welding on the bottom and a pipe needs to be re welded on at a angle and something plugged up is that correct
I will be removing my AC in a few months so while I am at it I thought of getting an ally rad.
The eBay ones are quite appealing for the price, has anyone got one?
This one...
The rattle does get annoying when on the motorway but it is worth it on a track car.
I spoke to Nick at FCS and he said he has moved the rattle to higher in the rev range by fitting a damper on the linkage, they should be available to buy soon for about £20 iirc
