Going to be bleeding the brakes today, currently spongey due to previous owner not having access to a clip to run the ABS.
Just wondering what the procedure is with this. Im going to flush the system at the same time. Ive done brakes before but never had to touch the abs, is it the same...
You ideally need a jack and axle stands to do it yourself, easy job though. It can be done on the ground, just need a man inside the car though to help.
A garage shouldn't be expensive 1 hours labour maybe?
Took a 2nd wind with this and playing non stop now!
Played from day one for a bit but got bored, now ive moved around the map with camps and got more money im loving it!
Another thinbs up for the wireless yale. I was also against battery systems but got a good deal on the yale.
Batteries last ages and you get warnings of when they are weeks away from flat. Controlling from the phone is brilliant also.
Mines did keep going off randomly recently but turned out...
I made the jump back in 2012 to an Air. Still use the same laptop daily and it still preforms effortlessly.
I honestly hate using windows now (unless 7), the macs just easy and the gestures come in so handy.
So yeah 6 years on and still no need to upgrade...
Good work mate!
I'm just taking the beam of the 172 at the moment for refurb, had a nightmare trying to get the first axle nut off without getting the gun on it think I'm going to cut the other one!
Lovely mate, van is cool also!
In regards to brakes im about to do my rears when the beam is off. Going to strip down get them blasted then either powder coat or just spray them myself with new seals etc. Atleast you know theyll last then.
£30 for new seal kit both sides.
