Cheers dude. It's not 'immaculate' but it's usually the tidiest MX-5 when I go to meets, although I've decided that most MX-5 owners are freaks! Sometimes I feel like swapping it for a Mk3 2.0 Sport but I can't see it having the lasting appeal of the Mk1.

So nothing new here really, but the MX-5 is officially the car I've owned the longest at 3yrs... I normally sell my cars within a year! I desperately want a track toy but can't find anything to replace the Mazda with, so I'm looking at making the MX-5 faster. I hate turbo's so I'm looking at...

I like it, although I'd rather see it with R26 wheels than the Porsche rims.

Might feel that way but from my experience there's sod-all in it.

Not with another 35-40bhp he isn't.

But a fast driver in a standard 225 is quicker than a slow driver in a remapped one.

I'm all for the 'right foot remap' as I call it... If you want to go faster, drive harder!
