does the efi boost module have a boost solenoid and able to alter boost levels? or was you running 252 bhp on the wastegate pressure on that 2871 chinese turbo?
Just wondering if many or any people on here are running this form of a/c delete (the cheapest easiest way) and if so what pulley / belt are you using?
Theres been a few threads about it over the years but people never spilled the beans on what pulley or belt size they were using, i googled...
I pulled mine off recently to do the head gasket after 2 and a half years being turbo'd there was no shaft play and looked perfect, they're only pushing 6 or 7 psi on low boost, id imagine if you were pushing the upper limits of its boost capacity the longevity would be shortened but if you're...
looks nice, theres not many aftermarket options for the clio i suppose its mainly because of the lift up reverse, you'd have to modify something like that.
It probably could be done though
also iirc the stem on the clio isnt threaded , the knob is like glued on and just pulls off
you could always buy a cup racer for around 10k which has alot of awesome discontinued parts that youll never be able to source for a clio you're building otherwise, and then it would have a bit of limited edition factor to it that cant be replicated, and a part of 1*2 history
Because of what those cars meant, the history behind them and the landmark for the company they were, it adds to the desirability of a car, whether it was made so that ford could use that car for group a rally, or whatnot. It's not just about how old a car is, its about the desirability of the...
Ive got to tell you mate, ive jacked the engine up to its highest point, wont fit, lowest point wont fit, removed alternator to slide in from the front wont fit, tried to slide it from the back (and theres no crank pulley & plastic cover there) and still wont fit, whether these cars have slight...
Has anyone tackled the water pump recently and knows if it’s physically possible to put the pulley back on with the pump installed? I’m looking for tips and tricks if anyone knows how to do this, I’ve spent an hour trying but the pulley won’t go back on there isn’t enough room :( really don’t...
Thanks mate ive gone about fixing my cup spoiler brake light today by opening up a non-cup spoiler brake light i already had, going to stick the light board into the cup spoiler one ?
I suppose its an option to cover it, just get it though its MOT but i would also like it working ?
that LED strip isnt a bad idea though, is it simple enough with the two wires? its just a ground and positive right? so installing an LED strip should be quite simple?
Just rang the stealers this morning as i cant find the brake light for the cup spoiler anywhere, OE number 7700429000 apparently they no longer supply them from either renault france or uk, but if that light is not working its an MOT fail. So your cars basically scrapworthy.. ?
I suppose the...
is it a significant oil leak or a significant amount of time before last checked, the engine undertray will get gunky and oily overtime due to the gearbox seeping oil, they all do it
But then he realised his Porsche couldnt compensate for his size down below and the fact he couldnt get it up to smash his Trophy wife, thats why shes on the other end of the neighbors gardeners pole during his track days. 😂
great thread, shows some of our ages! my first car was a nissan micra k11, no pics though.
Shows how times changed, in 2018 if youve just turned 18 your first car is a Golf R, or a 2016 Audi s3. Logic.
