Well that was horrible!
Power steering pipes are a nightmare to remove haha.
Degreased the engine bay after all the power fluid escaping haha
Engine bay now looking canny....
Just the column left to do on my days off next week!
Didn't get much time tonight after my trailer driving lessons but made some good progress still....
Cup alternator all fitted with shorter belt all fitted up.
Really happy with how it all looks and deleted the aircon and power steering pump.
This leaves the steering pipes to finish...
Well I promised I wasn't going to start the work until I had been out enjoying the car but I got bored tonight when s**t Factor was on haha.
Aircon removed and none aircon bulkhead panel fitted.
Also removed aux belt, alternator, compressor and steering pump.
Letting pipes empty into bottles...

Mine was meant for the quarter repair but I got carried away haha
Cheers, Simon is top notch and only person I will let paint my cars

Isn't on here now but I had it as an excellent fast road car in mint condition - sold it on and it's now a 340bhp turbo weapon with van conversion haha. Was up for sale a short while ago.
My old Inferno is now excellent spec but no I have always wanted to do one myself so this is the perfect opportunity.
The lad doing the paintwork is top notch
More or less - I have to drill the block with the sump off for oil return. Then that's about it for intrusive work.
If I see...
Mine already has the mounts in for this cage so would make sense - used to be a track car and mark fish did all the work.
Will see what funds are left after turbo conversion and go from there
He managed to straighten it out so isn't filled with bodge just a light skim for any divets.
He is doing the front bumper now as well as prepping side plastics
Well the usual sunroof leak started with a tiny drip so got straight on it and now has 2 thick layers of butyl tape round after cleaning it all down...
Then it was bathtime as car was absolutely disgusting....
Pair of freshly cleaned Sport seats and also freshly cleaned seatbelts fitted...
Nice little project looks a nice spec car as well
I did exactly the same for my cheap daily/dog transport. Also got a thread on here as well as for the Cup
65 injectors aren't as good as the ones used in the 80/100 versions.
This will probably explain your lack of power. I am going the other way and putting 80/100 injectors in my 65.
Well wasn't planning on this buy but couldn't refuse haha Bilstein B14 coilvoers courtesy of @mossyv6
Had a drive down today and collected them and will be fitted when car comes home from bodyshop.....
