I’m sure the bumpers fit all models, apart from maybe the diffuser fitting, but doubt that would be hard to make fit if the holes aren’t there already. I’ve seen a gt with the rs number before I’m sure, it was a blue one.
Hi and welcome. You definitely need to get some pictures up of your car!
I miss my 200edc, it was an epic car which I’d still have if it hadn’t of been stolen.
I can help you with the gearbox oil, it’s apparently sealed for life, but I changed my own gearbox oil myself, it’s very simple from...
@Adey.
These are the videos I followed. The guy who did them is really helpful and he’s on the mk4 rs faceache page. It’s frustrating as hell (or it was for me, I failed many times!) but managed it in the end. Well worth an hour of faffing about.
It’s quite easy to code in rs monitor if your good with coding, it’s just a case of a cheap adaptor being plugged onto the back of the screen, and changing the coding.
Nice to see the boost pressure and temperatures too.
I used a 182 and two 172’s as dailies for a good while, I even had kids in them. There was just enough room for a small buggy in the boot and wasn’t a massive struggle to get the kids into the child seats in the back.
Getting parts wasn’t an issue back then though.
I also note you say will be...
That is amazing. Sounds awesome! Well done doing all that. I lost my temper fitting the cold side pipe! And doing the turbo inlet and intercooler pipe I wanted to drive over myself!! (But I couldn’t because the turbo inlet was off thankfully 🤣)
Good progress mate. I too did my gearbox oil but the official line I’m sure is it’s sealed for life and doesn’t need changing. Although the oil isn’t cheap it’s worth doing for peace of mind.
Did you use motul dct oil?
Cars looking awesome too.
Sorry, I should’ve said it’s a flush plastic/glass one on a focus. 🤦 so the other suggestions won’t work. Thank you though.
@The Crumb Master So run the blade around the slight gap between glass and delete and then push? That’s a good idea.
I’ve searched the interwebs and got nothing so I’m turning to the minds of cs.
Does anyone know how to remove a rear wiper delete and return to standard please? I’m thinking a thin blade to cut the silicone, but I’m worried I’ll smash the screen.
Thanks in advance.
Sash means the hot pipe gasket on at the flange. It is a single use gasket and will leak. It was the case that the exact same part from Nissan was cheaper than from Renault. Defo change it when you can.
Looks like a sportex or Ashley system?
Remember having an Ashley system on my nova sr back in the day, I could park it across the road running and hear it in my house!
Yep, this was a couple of years ago, but it was £96 I think to buy them from rpd, but four ashes supplied and fitted them for about £93.60 inc vat. It was a no brainer really.
When I had my Clio, I had the spark plugs done by a specialist as for some reason it was near enough the same price for them to do it than it was for me to buy them. Might be worth checking some specialists? Crazy expensive spark plugs.
Sounds like me buying mk1 trophy alloys thinking they were different, to find they are just standard 18’s diamond cut. 🤦
Although to be fair to you, if your wheel was standard the facelift wheel is different in it has perforated leather on the sides and the solid 12 o’clock mark instead of a...
