Had plenty of 306 Rallyes, 106 Rallyes and recently sold my Jenvey ITB'd Gti in favour of a slightly more refined 172 Cup. Averaging 37.4 mpg and girlfriend thinks it's cute.
Good all around car but I find you have to go twice the speed to have fun compared to most other hot hatches I've had...
Bi guys, picked up a 172 Cup the other day to replace my ITb'd 106 Gti.
Has. Cooksport springs, K-Tec engine mounts kit, K-Tec stealth silenced system, matched inlets and a k&Not panel filter.
Front bumper could do with a respray and front fogs are cracked, pretty mint apart from that...
Cool man, I'll definitely keep an eye out. I have a red bodied 106 Gti, pic below.
You'll hear or see it now doubt. I wave at most RS clips, habit from when I had one. See you around
Yesterday afternoon /early evening. I was going towards Nutley across the forest in a black S1 Rallye. Two Clios going the other way, a blue 197 and a silver 172 behind it. :approve:
This stuff here. Pretty Damn cheap but lasts forever and the car looks amazing. I can only imagine what really high quality wax is like. I just don't have the time but it gets plenty of compliments after I've given it a once over.
This is the part where everyone tells me the wax will eat away...
I've got a Fabia VRS through work so the main thing I'm after Is fun factor. Having the Rallye makes anything more refined or comfortable :)
Steering feel /feedback and sharp handling are a must so I'll stick With the Clios.
Hi guys. I've currently got my Black S1 Rallye on ebay and am looking for something a bit more refined and grown up.
I drove my brothers ph1 a couple of years ago and it was great. Recent drive in a standard 172 Cup just backed that up.
Other contender was a Corolla T sport. Has anyone...
I gave the interior a really good scrub, surprised how much filth was deep in the seats! Seatbelts are red again rather than a dirty red.
Engine bay got a little wipe down too. Ignore the wire on the airbox, was a temporary fix to stop the airbox from rattling.
Couple of pics with some...
I'm size 10 and never had that issue, I guess I'm used to it. No problem going for Clio to rallye as long as I wear the right shoes. Great for heel to toe!
