Oh and with the wonder wheels I do dilute it a bit and only use full strength if I've got the wheels off to polish and seal. Good stuff though IMO, bought 3 bottles for £10 off a guy on here.
Lol sorry guys, I had posted it up on the southwest cliosport FB page first and they went pretty quick, guy called Ben with a trophy, don't know if he's on here actually. The new pms top mounts have made a world of difference though so I don't think you guys missed much from those ktec mounts!
Looking good mate, did you need longer bolts with those spacers? Are they hubcentric ones? Need to space my wheels out a bit I think! Also need to update my project thread, I've done loads last couple months!
Wonder wheels ( the purple one in see through bottle) is non acidic, I've used it since I had my wheels powdercoated and they look as good as the day they were done (18 months). Oh I've got a set of ktec top mounts free to a good home if anyone wants them, took them off as I've got pms top...
For the information of anyone else doing this, I tightened the lower strut mount bolts to the stated 180nm and stripped the thread off one, I've been informed that they should be 105nm, this is for the two bolts that hold the strut to the hub.
Ill get a pic up as I'm on my phone atm, so I've managed to get it all fitted, as you say spring-top cup-spacer-mount and all was going well until one of the lower strut mounts stripped its thread, is 180nm correct for the lower strut bolts?
So I think I have problems, drivers side shock basically fell apart but passenger side is all held together and I can't see how to get the old spacer on the top cup off, guessing now that I need to ditch this spacer and fit the pms one, this is turning out to be more of a ballache than it should...
Hi guys I'm part way through fitting the pure motorsports mounts and brace and have ktec coilovers, do I need the spacer between the top cup of the coilover and the mount. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated, the guide on pure motorsports website only shows standard shocks.

Hi guys I'm fitting the mount/brace kit today and I'm having trouble, I'm fitting it to my existing ktec coil overs and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right as the guide only shows standard suspension, I took out the strut and the coilover unit came apart as the only retaining bolt was the one in...
Just fitted my arb and its money well spent, back end just grips, just waiting for the weekend to fit the pms mount/brace and it should tighten the front too.
Ktec are very much a marmite company on this forum, I personally have never had anything but brilliant service from them, whether visiting or buying parts to fit myself, welcome along btw mate.
Hi guys maybe a dumb question but as I didn't fit the coilovers I'm not sure, would I need spring compressors to change the top mounts?

Mine were tinted by previous owner but I've had the car so long now that I think it'd look weird to me without them, also it stops people seeing the pov spec rear seat!!!
Sounds have been actual recordings on the last two games at least iirc, gotta you tube vids or summat, I'm sure I unlocked a making of type video in the game at some point or on the gttv part.
