Soaked my seat belts in coop stain remover, such a difference, then I tidied up a few fluffy edges by quickly flicking a lighter over them followed by C4 on the buckles and anchor points. Such a difference which doesnt really show up in my photos. Before After

Does anyone know the RAL code for cup silver turinis so I can attempt to get them colour matched at my powdercoater?

I always wrongly assume RB to be unlacquered, I need a bit of a front end job on my flamer but I think a new bonnet is in order

Rather annoyingly the powdercoat cracked on face the nuts go on the beam when torquing up

Just make sure the mating face of the beam has had the powdercoat cleaned off it.

Anthracite looks moody though on a flamer🤔

I've got a new set of silver centre caps but was thinking of going to get my wheels done in anthracite, would anyone with a set of anthracite fancy a swap?

The big question is as they failed to get remotely close to the centre cap colour when doing them do I: A. Keep them standard turini silver B. Go for anthracite or similar a darker silver

Got my money back today, it took me writing a full dated timeline to them to show up their total lack of hurry to sort the problem. They accused me of 'putting a chemical on them' to cause the crazing on purpose😆 why the hell would I do that!

375 miles a year! 6.5hrs of driving at 60mph a year, not enjoyed it that much

I'm in Herefordshire, I've now decided on a new place to get them redone in Hereford itself if I can get my money back. The insides of the rims on mine are shocking

Whiteline bushes appear much better than standard ones and they fit much more easily, couldn't get mine in at all, even stripped a 10mm toughened bolt trying. I got my lines from BRT, look great but they are going to shorten the short line as it's too long and will get trapped in the spring...

I'm thinking the same thing, I'd then be out of pocket for removal and refitting of tyres and powdercoat that may do the same thing. Only one tyre place here without an hour and a half roundtrip into Hereford so they arent even cheap to get removed/refitted.

Look at the mess of this, I wouldnt take the chance that the fourth wheel isn't going to do the same thing.

I've paid to have four wheels powdercoated, I've returned one wheel then dropped off two more which spent nearly a month without them doing them, now hes asking me to pay to have the tyres removed and refitted and balanced which was originally in the quote but hes since 'sold' his balancer. So...

I'm not so sure, I've been waiting since roughly Christmas for them to be done and hes not prepared to guarantee they wont craze once done so who's to say this fourth wont in a few months

You'd know this, how do I stand legally? They've been putting me off for months, it was September when they originally did them!

Oh I'm a stubborn ass alright! I've told him I want my money back, he said he'd pay me for the three that have failed to which I said it's all or nothing mate. He wants to 'meet' me to pay up😆 I'm going to give him my bank details and until Friday next week for the money to be in my account.
