Take it to Birchdown. If you're in Manchester it won't be that far for you. It's good 3 hour round trip for me. I'm booked in for my cambelt, aux belt.... service in a couple of weeks. They're always very busy.
I've been going to Andy and Steve for years and their work is always spot on 👍...
That seal looks a bit strange. Has it had a new quarter glass in the past? It doesnt look like it's got the factory tint?
They are bonded in, but there's a seal inside as well.
Yours looks like it's coming out.
This is what mine looks like.
If yours is 172 cup then these are what you need.

I think it depends what the warning light is. If it's an abs fault, my understanding is that it's a safety issue and would be a fail.
I'm guessing it depends on the MOT tester, how well you know them 😉
£2k tops. It wants some serious money spending just on the rust alone, then factor in the belts, you're looking at spending another £2k just to get it looking half decent again.
Well done and Happy Birthday 👍 🎉🎊
My 182 is coming up to 19 years ownership from new in February 2025. If I'd waited a couple of weeks it would have been an 06 plate.
It's only got 125k on the clock so not too high mileage for its age.
It's had a s**t load of money thrown at it in the past few...
It could be your handbrake cables are old and have stretched which has been mentioned.
I was experiencing the same. It just wasn't holding very well on steep hills. I always leave it in gear anyway but obviously wanted the handbrake to hold the car.
My cables are only a couple of years old so...
Yeah 90 days lol. Mad isn't it.
I knew the arch liner wasn't available. But Renault told my bodyshop it was available on back order.
There wasn't any actual damage to the arch liner caused by the accident. The existing damage had been there for years so he thought he'd order me a new one lol...
It pisses all over the Eezibleed for quality. You'll see what I mean when it arrives 👍
Plus there's no faffing about connecting it to your wheel. It's dead easy just to keep it at 20psi with a few pumps.
I did all 4 calipers in next to no time. I bled through a couple of litres. I'd been having...
It's gone up a couple of quid since I bought it.
There does seem to be quite a few sellers selling it now, for a little bit less. Well they look the same as mine anyway.
To be honest. I've never seen this one mentioned before.
Usually the go to pressure bleeder on here seems to be the Eezibleed over the years. I have seen the odd different one mentioned that are quite expensive.
This one makes you realise just how cheap and nasty the Eezibleed is.
Knowing what I...
Just a bit of a heads up for anybody contemplating buying an Eezibleed pressure bleeder.
Don't waste your money.
I bought an Eezibleed a few weeks ago. It worked first time, but when I came to use it again a couple of weeks ago it pissed air out from a couple of places, so I took it back and got...
I stand corrected. I've just been to fill the screen wash up and checked mine. They are lightly coated in rust. I've had the car since new and they've always been rusty as far as I can remember lol.
Both the Pre cat and post cat sensors are the same. The only difference used to be one cable was longer than the other.
Genuine bosch sensor here. Probably as cheap you'll find one. Click on the link below...
I'm with Hastings and had a no fault claim. They were very good.
Basically this little old lady joined the roundabout in the wrong direction, I was joining the roundabout, literally a couple of miles per hour and she got me head on.
I had dashcam footage, the little old lady admitted full...
They do if you've got a decent fitting kit.
This is one I knocked up out of stainless parts years ago. It's still going strong and even better now I've got a stainless flange. 😁

There's a guy on Facebook called Luca Locatelli who sells stainless flanges.
When my car was at Birchdown, they welded the stainless flange in place with the exhaust manifold still in situ.
Have you tried Renault? I had one replaced 2 years ago through my insurance after some minor front end damage. It came from Renault in France along with some other genuine parts.
