In preparation for getting the PC looking at polishes...I have heard Menzerna range is good by PC. I will mainly be working on cars with light swirls/ cobwebs, so was thinking of the Final Polish II and Finishing Touch Glaze... will this be sufficient? Also, just to clarify, if I purchase Sonus...
Fight, after much delay, finally set up a Photobucket account. Don't know why I took so long. The only problem is that I could only find my Dad's old Sony 5.0 mp camera and lacked the settings I wanted for some good close ups of the paint - the sun was out yet overcast in other areas, soreally...
Just doing some research at work and came across this:
http://www.5starshine.com/spo.html
Anyone heard of it before?
Also, has anyone heard of a product called "Seal & Protect" by CarPlan (and used?) It is the same name as our product so a little unsure how no one found this out before...
Hi guys
Not really as into the mechnical side as some of you guys so really hoping someone can help me out. My 53 plate Clio has decided that it is time for my exhaust to break (whilst on a dual carriageway, not cool!)
I have taken it to a local garage, who intend to order me a straight...
Whole article on Meguiars and there new polisher in the new March edition of BMW Car Club for anyone that is interested...says they should be available here by June.
Right, just noticed a little bit of what looks like blue paint in my engine bay. Only a little bit, on top of a couple of the components. Not sure if it has always been there, but only a small amount, just me being a bit obsessive and wanting to clean it of. But I just want to find out what it...
Just tried placing an order yesterday, and PayPal decided that my new bank card is "invalid" for some reason (although it definitely works).
So, at the moment I have an order on their system but can't pay for it via PayPal. I have emailed Graham but so far no response - does anyone know if he...
Hi guys, hope someone can help. I need a new rear wiper blade for my 172, seen one for post 1998 Clios in GSF for £5.25, my only concern is that it says it is 16", and I didn't think the rear wiper on mine is that large. Please help as can't see out the back!!:dead:
Cheers guys
Just flicking through Total BMW at work and seen an article come ad for SP branded products.... good work whoever got that in there! Sure it will help sales a lot. Although there are loads of firms advertised in there, most of them quite poor though from what I can tell, mainly American brands...
Hi guys
After deliberating for months I think I am finally going to give in and get a PC.
My car, and most those I work on, are generally in good nick, only minor swirls and minor holograms on my Dad's car. All three cars my family owns are black.
Therefore:
1. What is the best place to...
Hi guys. Time has come to replace the Contis on the 172...
These are the options/ prices. Which would people recommend?
Yokohamas (£52)
Contis (£60)
Pirelli P Zeros (£55)
Prices seem to be pretty good from what I have seen, plus the guy is travelling to my house and fitting them on my drive...
Hi guys... just got a great new Sony T10 camera for Christmas, and looking to purchase a spare battery for it. Any of you know which one I need?
Found this one so far...
Just joined this life-sucking community a few days ago.
Is there a CS group on there already, if not might set one up.
Anyone else feel Christmas holidays give you just TOO much free time.... ;)
Did another coat of jeffs spray sealant and collinite 487s.... braved the cold and wind, both products seemed really hard to remove today (my arm's are killing!) and as I had the r adio on to listen to the footy, my battery was dead and no one who has any jump leads that I know are out!
Bloody...
Hi guys, I need some help urgently as meant to be driving back to Reading for work very soon. Basically, been cleaning my car with the radio on and lost track of time, and now the battery seems flat. The radio was still working before I turned it off so some life left, but when I used the...

The time to fork out for another complete set of tyres on my 172 is upon me again, not great so close before Christmas! I have heard the Goodyears are good, but currently on Conti Sports and have been perfectly happy with them, so just wondering if people thought the Goodyears provide superior...
...was thinking of spraying the mk2 172 alloys on my pearl black anthracite/ black. Could one kind sir please photoshop me both these possibilities at all? Afraid I have no pictures of my car on this pc though I am afraid.... cheers if anyone can!:D
Used it today on my mum's golf, two coats and have to say that it left a really good finish on there. Been using SRP and M Sealant on them untill now but this seems a really good finishing coat.... hopefully protect the wheels against all that gay road salt that gets sprayed on the roads as it...

Anyone own/ used one of these bad boys? Being Sony it is probably slightly overpriced but think it looks the nuts. Would wlecome some opinions on it guys.
...that all this talk about cleaning cars is a little sad? I know I do from time to time, getting excited about making the car look good, only for it to get trashed as soon as its taken out in the rain. I know for several of you its your profession/ something you consider a hobby, but sometimes...
Whats the best weay of protecting the alacantra on the interior of CSs? Sprayed on some Diamond Brite interior protection a while ago, and think CGs have a similar product available now? Some interiors I have seen look really worn out, don't want mine getting like that.
Have to recommend M Sealant on wheels. I use AG SRP monthly, then M Sealant forthnightly on the wheels and they never look more than moderately dirty. Plus, you can wipe off any dust with a microfibre instead of washing them easilly as it the sealant doesn't allow the dust to bond to the metal...
On my 172 I find that when observing the onboard computer, that my remaining range (how far I have left before the petrol runs out based on fuel consumption) goes from 100 miles + to around 50 miles after turning it off. The petrol gauge itself looks like it is closer to 100 than 50 though, as...
