My mums went like that, took it in and got it replaced. Took around 45 minutes and was covered under warranty. Apparently very common on them.
Replaced the lower bezel and the bezel around the screen. Think my invoice states it was around £13 in parts or something. So nothing very expensive...
I don't know why people keep saying get 100hz.
On some things it is ok. However it also makes other things look very unnatural and gives me a right headache. As a result my sets have the 100hz disabled. It just makes things look like they have been recorded on a camcorder or something.
What TV are you hooking up to? Also do you want audio out through the TV as well? As that is where it gets more difficult in general depending on the TV and if you do or do not have a separate surround type system you can plug into.
You would have to make sure your motherboard supports the 1066mhz bus speed of the higher CPU's.
To be honest though upgrade the ram and if you want more speed add an SSD hard drive. A faster CPU is utterly pointless especially with what you have said you use it for. You likely never push the...
I prefer the proper 17" saw blades. The 16" ones aren't really the same. They don't actually look like a saw blade for a start. Or as good in my opinion.
C4 17" saw blades
Still at some point maybe the Euro scene will be Euro again. Rather than rip off yet another thing from the US...
What kinds of programs are you running.
How time sensitive is it? Will you need programs to launch as quickly as possible or will they be loaded up once and that's it? Or is it a case of opening and closing things as and when you need them?
Will you likely ever need to go beyond 6 monitors...
Retina will not happen on the iPad.
The resolution might be increased but a true 300ppi+ Retina display...no way, not a chance. The processors simply could not handle the resolution. Not to mention the cost of producing a screen that size with such a high pixel density would make it incredibly...
If he absolutely has to buy it prebuilt then it might be worth looking at some of the scan or overclockers prebuilt systems. At least they are actually designed more towards gamers and come with up to date hardware for the same price. Usually you just pick a £500 ish system and spec the better...
Was a good day although very bloody cold. C4 was down a bit on power compared to last time...which I was kind of expecting now it has the big brakes on it. Also needing a service so filters are probably clogged up a bit, so can't really complain at an 8hp loss.
Other people have 1.2's on them. They can be ordered in pretty much any bolt pattern and offset you want.
Had some made for the C4 took around 6 weeks to get them.
You know corsair also offer a water block for their memory? If you really wanted to go nuts with the water cooling side of things.
https://shop.corsair.com/store/item_view.aspx?id=833087
Not in stock yet but I believe you can order them direct from corsair. Will say one thing with the airflow...
Fibreglass wheel well build isn't that difficult. Time consuming yes but not difficult. Plus if the box is built too small you can just stuff the box with polyester filling which will trick it into thinking it is in a bigger box. Using most of the well though I reckon it would be about right for...
Reckon you need the airflow pro as a finishing touch for that memory with the fan on it anyway.
Basically just lights that show you how much memory is in use and how hot it is running etc.
You know the HX1000 is rather under rated?
Its not actually 1000w. Actually two of the 620w Corsairs PSU's in a single case. If you look it up, they just rate it at 1000W as it boosts the efficiency ratings.
Screen protector plus carbon skin?
Have the 3M carbon skin that someone posted on here a while ago. Protects quite well and has been on there a while. Not something that comes off easily anyway once it has been on for a day or two.
All depends on how much data there is to be fair. I mean TB's worth of data just can't be backed up quickly. A barely used laptop has likely got very little on it.
Easy enough to migrate a windows machine as well. Apps built into windows for it.
They are good customer service wise though...
Latency and speed aren't related like that though.
You will more than likely get the same pings with low broadband speeds as you would with high broadband speeds.
I know over the years I have had 512/256kb connections and now am on Be top package. My pings in all that time have remained pretty...
Racing games are about the only thing that looks right on multi monitor setups.
FPS games etc just tend to look horrible. Get buildings looking like they are drunk etc. Suppose DX9 games which are fairly old would run all right on them.
However more modern games, going to have to drop details...
Single monitor for gaming, although I do quite fancy a 3 monitor set up for some games.
Just the whole high res issue that you run into. Single monitors generally work better for gaming. Unless you have some serious cash to chuck into 4 way SLI.
I mean imagine trying to run your average 1080...
Just get yourself a component set. Will come complete with mid bass drivers for the doors and tweeters for in the top of the dash. As well as a set of crossovers. Fitting guide on site I believe.
Decide how much you want to spend and then see what is about. You can fit 6.5" speakers in the...
Have the D106R in the C4 with the solid state Satnav addon, imprint processor (actually a separate processor with this headunit, amps plug into the processor if you buy it) and 400BT Bluetooth addon. C4 has loads of room in the dash so literally all the addon boxes are behind or on top of the...
Driving out there isn't nearly as difficult as driving here though to be honest.
I can quite easily do 15 hour drives out there and have done in the past and got out feeling fine. Do that here and I would get half way through and feel knackered.
Just a lot more laid back out there, long...
