There is a fix...theres a metal rod inside the handle that sits on top of another bit of metal when closed and rattles. I found wrapping this metal rod in some sort of plastic did the trick....bit of a pikey theory but seemed to work
Cracker of a day so gave the TCE a quick polish. Excuse the bad i-phone pics - really need to invest in a decent camera.
Let me know what you think,
Cheers
Al
Can also get the 8v on the most basic model
I dont think it was poverty spec on the top model - I had the Sport i-Music version which had alloys, A/C, tunepoint, leather wheel etc etc....made a cracking first car imo
Defo agree mate....not OCD at all....its your car, you've worked hard to be able to afford it, no matter how much it was
Mine gets oil changed every 6k, Renault service every year, fully detailed twice a year and washed regularly (and i admit i fold the wing mirrors in when i park)
Cheers mate
Was trying to think whats actually covered by warranty with suspension....surely if you wreck a spring it would be "wear and tear"
Can imagine Renault being funny about it tbh
Nahh no finance outstanding at all but i'd hate for the warranty to be invalid because, lets face it, it will be in for warranty work at some point, that we can be sure of
I have a 10 reg Clio Tom Tom and would like to fit some new springs, maybe 35 or 45.
How will I stand if the car needs warranty work done - i'm guessing it will be invalid?
No doubt Renault will have a hissy fit either way when taken there for servicing.
This has probably been asked many...
Coilies didnt affect my mpg at all, consistently got around 45mpg out my Campus which I thought was not too bad
Slap on a RS grille and subtle things like silvervisions, a lower and a good detail and your on to a winnner - nice wee car
Tidy car mate, especially for the price. I actually like the colour, think its called platinum or something.
Agreed though, dont do anything drastic with this one...maybe just lowered slightly on nice wheels and a good polish - your laughing
