I think it's the carbon canister which is a common fault but it doesn't effect the driving or efficiency of the car. Mine does it.

Would my car benefit from spacers? I have just purchased 16" Tunrinis and fitted Eibach springs . I really like the look but been reading things about spacers and wonder whether I should give them a go ?

Yeah mine was like this! Use a punch to knock the old cup washers out and then file the rust away, will fit snug then!
