Just wondering if anyone has set up a neat ipod/phone cradle in the dash of their car.
I don't think I've seen many in my 2 years worth of browsing on here.
[Potential thread fail]
Since I got my 172 and claimed it was mint (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?528378-Another-quot-Finally-Got-a-172-quot-Thread-(Warning-May-cause-Jealousy)&highlight=) I haven't submitted any hard evidence...
...Well here it is (after a good clean);
Thumb grips :rasp...
First of all I'm aware this is fairly useless without pictures but it is way too dark to take any. I got home from work at 9.30 and was a bit bored so fitted it straight away :). So I kind of need help from people who has fitted one (or a JMS set-up/ Ph1 172 etc.) :o
So my first observation was...
First of all, why did I want to de-badge my sport?
For a number of reasons. :) I’m a bit of a perfectionist/nerd when it comes to fonts colour and balance. The Renault Sport badge breaks a load of rules on this front. It uses all capitals, then all lowercase, when the work Clio has a capital C...
Well...I finally got a 172. And an absolute peach of one at that:

Went to view this car and was literally blown away. It looks as if it's just left the factory;
No melting steering wheel,
Immaculate Thumb Grips,
Absolutely no creasing of the...
Thinking of contacting this guy with a serious view to buying the car.
Any thoughts?
Any input would be much appreciated, this is my first experience of buying a car.

So me and richybatt met for a quick shoot earlier today. His interior looks really good in the flesh and there was a nail biting moment with a fair-sized speedbump.
Here are the results:
And on the way home: :hail:
Second Photoshop of the night and the first time I've tried this effect properly. No shame in it being a 1.2 :S
Looking for practice on it if anyone wants to send the two necessary photos :)
Long time no post, especially in this section, so here i go.
Since I last took Decent photos, my car was on eibach sportlines, and had mk3 expression wheels.
Since then I've invested in Rokkor Coilovers, Renault 25 V6 wheels (speedline), Painted them Rover Storm Grey and done the diamonds and...
I'm running rokkor coilovers, 25mm spacers and renault 25 v6 wheels.
Just put the new wheels on today and realised the two main bolts on my passenger side coilover had come a little loose. tightened them up but now - this is the odd part - the passenger side wheels has an obvious positive...
When i finish uni (less than 1 year now) I plan on doing a serious build. Since I already own a 1.2 clio, and it's only bad points are minor engine problems, it makes sense to do it on mine.
However my reason for doing this project is to learn everything about engines as i'm a bit of a n00b on...
Are they a similar fitment to a ph2 clio? Stud diameter is correct i know that, but what about the center bore and offset?
Sorry for the school boy but I've been stung by the center bore once already (bought vw wheels) and cba with that again.
Ok so i keep teasing myself with insurance quotes on faster cars but here's the story:
My 1.2 has been in the family from new (my mum for 5 years, probably never saw 4000rpm), serviced every year having only averaged about 5000-6000 mpa, runs like clockwork, all major things done (sunroof...
Basically my girlfriend hit another car (ahe owns a clio too, so its on topic :D). A car at a junction flashed her to go out, she double checked but did'nt triple check and she hit a 56 plate Ibiza on its front passenger wing. Women eh?
Anyway her little clio came out fine. snapped the number...
After being told what to do with one for the last week of uni finally rented one out and had a go.
I was a little shy on the aperture on all of them really, still good to have a go and get to grips with the basics.
Few updates done to the Clio since last time so took some very low aperture...
