Now I may be getting to much into this, but I presume with the turnover that K Tec does, that it's a VAT registered company?
If so, I would have asked for the VAT invoice. At the least, I'd expect them to show the company number and VAT number on the invoice as this usually is included in the...
That doesn't sound to difficult. I have an old set of wheels at home in a bad condition, so may use those to practice on first. I suspect I'll encounter a lot of problems, but i'm going to research thoroughly what the consequences can be so the car should hopefully still be driveable for my...
Hopefully I can follow your path. Did you ever do anything seriously wrong in the process? That'll be my only worry as it's my only car, so is my daily driver. Refurbing the alloys is another task i'd like to try as mine are rather curbed (I have to take the blame for most of it, I'm not the...
Thanks mate :) Thought I'd give it ago as there's a lot of advice on here, and seeing other projects motivated me.
Cheers mate :). I was really gutted. I was going to the hospital to have a blood test which I hate anyone, so scuffing the bumper made it twice as bad :( Hopefully I can fix it...
Hi Guys,
As the title suggests, i'm a complete novice when it comes to cars - to the extent of where I've never removed a wheel or even jacked a car up!! The only thing I've done is wash a car (Have attempted waxing once, but by no means successfully). Now, that is hopefully going to change...
Now, I don't claim to know much about these things, but this thread has made my chest hurt. Brilliant. Has the newspaper pic appeared yet? Any chance you can get him to do a specific page of a paper like Page 3 of The Sun?
I think there's a few special 6 months policies you can take out. May be worth getting a few quotes together for the 6 month policies, and then get the price of a 12 month policy (and find out how much it is to cancel half way through). That's how I'd approach it.
This would have royally shafted me the other day. Was in traffic and suddenly this coach in front of me started rolling down the hill - I kept a reasonable distance luckily, but he just kept coming. Literally stopped an inch away from me - I presume I'd be done for this as it'll look as if I've...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Gutted for you mate. Really nice example. It sounds like there's a lot of awareness about it now - and I really can't see how people can pinch it keyless without anyone seeing something.
Close shaves? This was actually a minor accident, but potentially could have been a hell of a lot worse, so will class it as a close shave.
10 days after passing my test at 18, I was driving a Ford Fiesta 1.2 SI and was driving through a private estate. I went to go round the corner at 30mph...
Get this all the time. In fact when it first "fixed" itself was when a mate accidentally slammed my passenger door. As other have said it's to do with the connectors under the seat.
You've seen mine already Joe - but I'm often about in Watford as well :)
Mine - Blue 172 - GX53 plate.
I'm sure I see an EA53 regularly to and from work...
Was a guy I bumped into at Top Golf a month back to whose on here, but can't remember his username.
I thought that at first, however having researched it on google, apparently it isn't as straight forward as that :S
I've seen a Parrot Tablet which looks like it may be Clio'able.
Damn. Thanks for the quick reply mate.
The main reason I wanted that was to play Spotify through the car stereo. Does anyone know of any single din units with this capability?
May be a stupid question here, but has anyone fitted a Parrot Asteroid Smart into a 172 non cup before?
Link below. Looks a neat bit of kit

Can totally relate to the OP - I bought a Monaco Blue at the weekend and love every bit of it. I should really put pictures up, but my photography is shocking.
I haven't got the disco in the of mine, but am in 2 minds as I did have them in my 1.2 and do miss em.
Bizarre, I thought they were different. I sat in a 182 at the weekend, and the clutch was really heavy. The 172 clutch was much more easy going and lighter
