Well on a positive note I fitted a boost gauge and the turbo is good. 10 psi holds all way to redline, 14/15/17 psi too. Really impressed.
Will go see my rentech mate at some point and try a new pedal.
Thanks anyway
I wonder if it's my maf sensor not sealed in its hole proper? I know when that's out it revs high, but then it would idle higher if that was an issue surely?. I have cleaned the throttle body.
If you watch the video, you will see if I tap throttle. The revs stick for few seconds. Pain when I am going slow thru town/parking/ creeping down my drive early hours.
It also flat/hesitates when I drive just over 2k ( I press throttle and it's flat, then I get to 2500rpm and over all is ok.)...
I feel your pain pal. Mine was off road for a month, turned out to be my fuel pipe had come off the fuel pump in tank? Proper shocked after shed loads of other investigation work. Car was still getting fuel but not 3 bar of it.
Was a silly problem really. But at the time I was very disheartened...
I always find myself taking lots of pictures, at different angles and places. Just for the ones that make the car look it's best. Love the Reds in these. Astra is in good state at 12 years old? 56k on clock. My trophy is on 40k
It's like when I see a woman with a stranded car. Causing an obstruction. No one gets out to help. All it takes is for someone to help push car out of the way then bingo! No obstruction! Just for 2 mins of someone's time. I try stop when I can but with a lorry its sometimes not possible.
I...
This drives me mad on a motorway, three or four cars join a motorway then instantly pull out and start overtaking. They don't even wait to see what others are doing around them. They look and move, I don't know about anyone else? But I look and look again before I move just to make sure.
I bet...
Make sure you take this advice, I changed mine to this and now i have no surge issues and can run under half tank. Fitted a walbro just to be safe.
I bought a 1.4 sender, and fitted walbro.
The return puts fuel back into the bottom of standard swirl pot.
Bloody hell george you Leicester lad hey? Might come see you at some point when I come to visit;) got mates at thurnby lodge, hamilton.
Got a good mapper at syston my mate uses for his turbo civic
I had a 3d and I only used it to show people, yeah it was impressive but rarely used it. Ended up buying a really good panasonic without 3d after a broken tv accident :(
Don't really want to see it go?

All done, loads better, new walbro, no noise. Old one had so much dirty around the filter, the return is better design.
Need another throttle body now tho, bit rattly.
But pump is better.
Thanks for advice given chaps
Looks like yours uses same plug as mine too. Some have an inline plug.
Thanks for your feed back.
I already have megane rail and injectors so I just need to sort pump and housing out
Yeah what I mean is does the return feed back into the standard swirl pot? According to my brother mine was just drilled at top so fuel just drops back in tank.
Does anyone know if we can use newer housing from mk3 Clio? Or Dacia ones?
Cheers
I need to buy a pump, I remember reading make sure I buy genuine? Has anybody bought one from eBay? Or any other supplier and it's genuine with all parts included to fit?
Any links would be great.
I have also been advised to buy a 1.2 housing setup as they use same as 172/182/ Twingo , pre fit...
