Mines squealed on start up the last 2 days, I recently fitted a new belt etc 2 weeks ago. I'm going to check the tension of the belt in the morning and see if it's come loose at all.
My cars been of the road for a few weeks waiting for some gaskets to turn up, so I've been in the c-max.

I average 38 mpg and I don't really hang round. Being sensible I usually see over 40 mpg, but I'm not to bothered about the mpg anymore.
I don't fill the tank up unless I go on long journeys but when ever I do I always get over 400 miles to a tank which imo is brilliant for a hot hatch.

If you've watched the video you can see what's going on, I was tired last night.
I'll upload a video tonight of how if sat before I tried it with the black piece on.
The passenger side strut doesn't have the black bit on and is perfectly fine, I only tried it on the drivers side as it was sat about an inch higher and wobbled around like crazy.
Basically I've had a second hand set of k-tec coilovers in the shed for a while and had a spare hour tonight so thought I would fit the backs.
All went well till I let the car down and gave the shocks a wiggle to see if all was ok.
