Not conkers mate, they are Chestnuts. Conkers are Horse Chestnuts. Nice autumn picture for this months theme tho.

Looks a nice little set up to start with. If you can get it for a good price then do so. What lenses you need all depends what you want to take pictures of. You may be better off not buying in a bundle, but if its cheap enough and you have a use then do it. For a first camera i don't see why...

Some amazing shots, the standard in this thread is just getting better and better. I have nothing to contribute at the recent standard, ill have to pull my finger out. Really liking Yanoo's morning dream shot, Matt's pictures and I'm a fan of the tunnel picture Aaron, love that type of processing.
