been looking around for a new bonnet, none have come up so far, i can get a new one for £60 unpainted so i might have a look at doing that then getting it sprayed. hopefully i can get it sorted for CSS

i attempted to take the original exhaust off without cutting it up as my mate wanted i to put his 1.2 back to standard and i couldn't work out how to take the bumper off cause the exhaust would pull through so the lights came off too to find out how, i now know the lights didn't need to come off

My new KTR exhaust arrived yesterday after 3 weeks waiting for it, as i weren't busy today i got my mate to give me a hand fitting it. May have over complicated the removal and fitting though... but worth the results... bumper needs a tad cut out but it started raining so will have to be...

Yh i took a sharp standley knife to it, when i got more time might get some 1500 wet/dry and tidy the edges up, dont look to bad though.

Thanks guys, been thinking new bonnet, was already quoted 250 to repair the dent, the only problem I got with getting a second hand bonnet is getting the right colour, mines 632 platinum, so hard to find one in that colour

Right basically when I bought my car it had a pretty big dent in the front of the bonnet just where it sits above the badge, it's also cracked the paintwork inside the dent and the bonnet is higher at the front then back, looks abit like lifters at the front but it's not, do I try and fix this...

I know someone who thinks he knows everything abouts cars, some of the things he's said has had me on the floor laughing, apperently he had his 1.0 corsa to 110mph! and so he says my Clio isn't as safe as his x reg corsa best one though is he's gona buy a type r and spend about a grand on it...

i ordered the KTR recessed supersports for mine, will update you when fitted. and my mate has the KTR 182 look exhaust, quite loud when he puts his foot down and just a purr on idle :cool:

Looks tidy, needs a RS grill, maybe 15" dynamique alloys and dont put a sports filter on, K&N panel filter maybe.

If I remember correctly it was a M14x50mm, had to drill out the hole in the tow strap as it don't fit through though
