Just bang a pair of balljoints on mate only 2bolts on the wishbone anda. Pinch bolt in the hub wouldn't bother with the wishbones they are a good design unlike most wishbones and don't often give issues save ya money
Very easy to change mate just 3 10mm pins sits on the water housing on the side of the head where the top hose goes in to it you'll see a housing with the 3 10mm pins . best way to check it out is get it up to temperature and check both grab both ya radiator hoses if it's not opening then there...

Agree could be a faulty compensator it's underneath the car at the back the brake pipes go in to it check the arm / piston if free but for the cost I'd be tempted just put a new one on especially as you've already spent so much they at quite prone to seizing and causing back brake issues other...

Have you a test light if you can get the cover of and get to the bulb you can check see if you have power and an earth at the contacts on each side of the bulb
Yep clios are bad for corroded rear light plugs give them all a good rub with a bit of sandpaper and bend the tabs a little so they are a better fit on the light it's normally the earth black wire that causes the issues if you have a look it's probable black on the contact do both sides also...
