Ive seen standard clios pull low 14's.
That bosted one in video above is doing high 14's
Im a s**t at drag racing buy can pull 15's all day. Something dont add up or im missing something.
No grease will stop the noise.
I tried
Various makes of pad
Different brand discs
Anti squeel shims
Rubber squeel pads
New yolks
Filed edges of pads right down
Spent loads trying to sort it and got no joy, so sold up
Gearbox failure / repair / replacement is just as costly as belts..
If i was to buy one again id be looking for belts done , clutch and gearbox refurbed.
Been a fair bit since i put any pics on here. Things have changed a little over the last two years.
Got rid of the 16" superleggeras and got 15 " superleggeras.
Fitted one of them ebay cages ( hate away lol) with spreader plates not just bolted to the floor like i have seen recently. Oh and...
300mm discs and 406 calipers on the motex brackets?
The outer edge of the disc fouls the inner of the caliper. And gets worse as they heat up, once the tiny bit of material has wore away in the caliper the noise will go. No problem imo with those caliper pistons (bar the dust seal)
Fit them...
My 182 has made 181 on a few different rollers over the 5+ years ive owned it. Still its just numbers the end of the day aslong as it drives well and your happy with it then all is good
Remove the pump from the washer tank. You will see one oulet is white and other is black. Pull them away from eachother and a little round cylinder with rubber ends shall drop out.
Cut 1mm off each rubber end and refit it. It shall now work perfect, be careful with some replacements as they are...
Just buy a powerflex exh008 mount off ebay for about 6 quid.
Cut the old mount rubber out and push the powerflex mount in and either cable tie or screw it in place.
Drill 12mm hole and job done
Great bit of kit and works very well.
Pointless fitting it on a 10+year old mount though.
But fits with the bolk mount off ebay well the one @Darius mentioned
