I'm looking at a 182 tomorrow, hoping this one will be a good one I fancy buying!
Just found out the car is de-catted and the engine management light has come on, apparently the light only came on after the battery had gone flat recently and a mechanic has quoted the current owner £15 to switch...
Cool yeah I agree with that, wouldn't want a full on basic Cup despite liking the sounds of them previously. The only type of Cup I'd look into is the FF, with the luxuries.
I'll check this orange one out this week, and tbh even without the Cup setup if I like it I'll probably buy it! Just...
Cheers guys for the fast responses!
I probably wouldn't fit coilovers since my current car is so stiff I'm looking for at least a slightly softer ride, but at the same time I don't want a car that has stupid amounts of roll. Is a 182 without Cup packs likely to lift an inside rear wheel for...

But I occasionally come across a 182 with the Cup chassis pack, and wanted to know opinions of people who've driven both the standard setup and Cup setup.
Is it that much better with the...
Thanks for the help guys much appreciated!
I think I would definitely prefer the Cup, I can live without most luxuries as driving pleasure is priority. My Punto is lowered 50mm so I am used to a firm ride, and the chassis set up on the Cup sounds spot on. I race karts so it'd be nice to have...
Hi I'm new to the forum, I currently own a Mk2b Punto, and have done for 3 years so I really fancy a change. Something that will be fun to drive but also a reliable daily is what I'm after, and a Clio Sport 172 seems the best car. My budget is £3,000 so it looks like I'll be getting an example...
