Twist the adjuster out, then slide it out completely, then get your fingers in the holes where the bulbs would normally be and line the reflector onto the ball socket, then pop it back on...
Thanks :) I've sent them an email being honest that I bought the exhaust second hand so understand about the warranty but asking if they can help me in any way, £150 was sort of what I was expecting so if they cant I still may take the plunge.
I bet it sounds much better.
Oh I like the look of that revised center silencer, mine slightly split at the weld but I siliconed it.
Being smaller I'm wondering if the new silencer will sound slightly raspier? If you know how much it cost even though they replaced FOC could you PM me?
Thanks.
They suck some of the coolant out the header tank and add a liquid to see if it changes colour, one colour means its fine, another would show if gasses have leaked into your coolant I believe which would indicate a head gasket failure or similar.
The mayo is common I really wouldn't worry about...
There is a coolant that is that colour, the coolant looks clear and not like its got any oil contamination in my opinion.
"Mayo" in the oil cap is common because of the oil breathing system on the 1.2's I believe. Wipe it off and keep an eye on it.
Its most probably fine. If the oil's not been...
Check the dog bone mount under the car (gearbox stabiliser might be an easier way to describe it), then the upper gearbox mount under the battery and also the engine mount, but at low speed it could possibly be something suspension related.
I need to order a new U clamp myself, bolts where stupidly long and as I didnt bother to cut them down they are bent from speed bumps.
This one here seems to be the right size and the bolts look a decent length...
They are not xenon bulbs, they are halogen bulbs, coated with a blue tint to try and make the standard orange glow from a halogen bulb look "white".
If your headlights are H7 you can fit these, they are far from amazing but do give a whiter glow than normal bulbs.
If you want propper xenon's...
Well the best thing to do it reset the trip, and take it for a drive where you know you wont be stuck in traffic, if once the trip learns and gives you your MPG and its not too bad i.e. 36 then its probably just a case of the stop start traffic.
I think the trip is just a guide really, If you...
On my grandads 1.2 he told me the car was running a bit hesitant and a drop in MPG, after seeing on here that the oil breathing system on the engine was poor and that oil can collect in the plastic upper manifold I took it off.
There was nearly an inch of oil sat there which I removed, this...
They can be bought separately, eg: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLIO-II-ELECTRIC-WINDOW-REGULATOR-REPAIR-CLIP-FRONT-RIGHT-DRIVER-SIDE-OSF-/400354114488?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AClio&hash=item5d36f6fbb8
If that looks the same as your version happy days.
Yep I had the same feelings when I thought I needed mine changing, I dont know myself but someone might know on here if that tool above to push the flange on is just so it can be done without a press?
Could a garage with a press push the new flange on or special tool only?
I thought at one point I needed to change my steering pump so did all the necessary looking into it.
You need a puller to get it off, and I found the part no for the tool needed to press it back on, Its: Dir. 1083-01 and was around £30 when I asked.
I came to the conclusion that a second...
I'd maybe just wack a new one in there, I've got the black Bosch, cheap at the moment, might be able to use a code on it to get it cheaper.

You just need the white plastic part I would think going from the other thread, could ask @renaultWolverhampton if its a part that can be bought seperately but I would think you need to buy a new whole mechanism. So best to buy a second hand one off ebay cheapest poss and take it out of there...
