The whats your favourite wax thread

But as this is a discussion based on 'normal' usage, your point didn't really stack up.

The whats your favourite wax thread

I've got to side with Dave here, 6 months of weekend use and always garaged then yes. Usually day to day driving on British roads with British weather I think not. No doubt even Swissvax would agree that BOS isn't sold as a durable wax

    Waxathon

You should do, if you read the first page you'd have seen where it stated "the first person to guess the nearest amount by 2pm Thursday" Just saying

The whats your favourite wax thread

BOS does what its intended to do, but in terms of 'best/favourite wax' as per thread, its not even a contender

Wow, an hour since the cut off time and no void entries. Very shocked. Just to reitterate in case some straggles are yet to guess...... COMPETITION ENDED AT 2PM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers for the heads up Dave, that reminds me I've still got 3 bottles of RDS in the garage. Bought so many bottles of that, Hot Wheels and all the other stuff that kept appearing on offer

    AF Citrus Power

I bought a few bottles of CP back when PB had their 3 for 2 offer on, now I'm on the last bottle I'm unsure if I'll buy any more. Price is its only draw back really. If it could perform as well when diluted down then it'd make for a very good value for money product. Whereas currently its a...

You've actually removed the labelling and applied to your new pot??? Did you not have a marker pen to hand

    Smashed my wax pot! :(

Funnily enough just binned an old pot I had of wheel sealant, would have happily sent you that to re-home your wax in Ry. However, as I've thrown it away I understand this information is pretty much useless to you

    Halfords polisher

Brilliant for making your golden delicious nice and shiney. Other than that, I'd sooner breath and buff (as you'd clean sunglasses) sensible answer is: it will provide no added benifit over doing by hand

    Weekly Waxathon once again......

The past few weeks I've got it bang on but wasn't first to guess correctly, then been within 20 a couple of times. 12 out this time

Apologies, I saw EGP being mentioned after Wax but read it thinking SRP. yestersay was a day of mistakes.... Went and put petrol in my diesel company vehicle

    Weekly Waxathon once again......

I think for all future entries on the second day we should all type (ends at 2pm) after our guess.... so.... 654 second guess (ends at 2pm)

    Choice of polish

No offence but going by what you've just said I take it you are fairly new to all this? HD Wax is (hard not to come across patronising here) is indeed a Wax EGP is a polish therefore would never be used after a Wax.

    Choice of polish

It really depends how cheap you can get the AG products for and also what you'd rather get from a product. For instance are you looking for best results or cheapest means of getting a half decent finish?

    The Share "n" Shine

I really miss my old Ph1, shouldn't have ever sold it really. Thought I wanted something a bit more solid so got a MCS in place of it. Mistake!!! More than twice the price but less than half the fun

    Interior shampooing/wet vac

Yeah I'd say that looks rather harsh, not sure where I got mine from but its half the size of that thing and soft bristles.

    Interior shampooing/wet vac

That's pretty much it Ry, unless you have means to dry well just try not to soak it too much.
  28. yellowbelly

    Your detailing blunders....

Id have simply chucked a cup of water over the tea to rinse off, then dried it. Perhaps a touch of QD and error rectified surely. Unless of course your car is made of paper, or by tea you mean battery acid, in which case "massive fail"
