coil packs are quite common on these. And for safety u should dissconect the battery providing you have the radio code (if u have the standard radio still in) however i tend not to dissconnect it
possibly, but the sensor is very close the oil filter. Just pop the fuel rail cover off (2X 10mm nuts (you will need a deep reach socket)) and you should be able to see
possibly is he saturated the sensor. That is also the light that comes up for lambda sensor issues. Have a quick look at the knock sensor if not get it to renault or someone with diag equipment
when mine came on it was the knock sensor which is just next to the oil filter, make sure the mechanic didnt brutalise the sensor, its on the front of the block with a big hex head on it, 22mm from memory
there seems to be a few cars coming out with that 4 link rear suspension, The new astras that sell have them, personally dont see the need on an astra lol
