So installed my drivers side bucket seat today, upon doing so was confronted with what looks to be hacked up wiring. Certainly not what I was expecting. Unsure of where to put the resistors now.
This is what I'm left with.
Any ideas?
Next on the to do list is tie rods and track rod ends, Powerflex ARB bushes, Whiteline RARB, Pms solid top mounts, probably going to invest in some corbeau clubsport bucket seats in between. Can a mod move this to the builds section please?
Bit of an update:
Done a few more jobs and bought some stuff for the car over the last month or so.

Picked up some Gaz coilovers from weeksy and got them fitted in torrential rain along with some 20mm front spacers and 10mm rear shims (which I forgot to take pics of)...
Was out with your old man this week doing my hgv training, as soon as he mentioned yours I knew I'd seen it on here!
Looks really good on the wheels, different but in a good way! My golf had a similar colour scheme when I had bbs on it.

Was thinking planet performance in South Ayrshire or Progrip near Stirling, progrip seem to have good reviews but haven't heard much about planet performance, just know them from funkypower.
As the title says, can anyone recommend a reputable garage that actually knows how to set up geometry properly? As close to dumfries as possible cheers.
So due to a mixture of things (budget, warranty, customer service etc) I've decided on a set of gaz coilovers on my ph1 172.
Used the search function and as far as I can see with a separate rear spring/shock combo the ratio at the rear wheels is 2:1, therefore it's recommended that a stiffer...
Hi new to the forum. Name's Connor, I'm 23, from a town called Dumfries but work down in Wiltshire through the week.
Mainly been a Jap/Vag fan but always fancied myself a Renaultsport and finally picked up a very tidy example Ph1 172 (IMO the best looking) last weekend. Safe to say I'm over the...
