The HTC Touch was possibly the worse phone I've ever owned and used. I had it 4 months before I just couldn't carry on, so bought a Razr2 V8 instead.. Keyboard was rubbish. UI was rubbish. Phone was rubbish. Everything was utter rubbish. There, how's that for a review. :p

Who cares? No one.. get an Exchange server. ActiveSync. How many times do I have to tell you fanboys?!?!?!?!? ;)

If you get any other player than an iPod, you'll always want an iPod.. iPod > * Doesn't matter that they're not the best, doesn't matter they don't do WMA DRM for subscription music services.. it's an iPod.. so it's awesome.

Yup. They'll write you a letter with the PAC.. takes a few days. Heh. I'm sure someone else on here the other day was on abotu leaving Orange and tried to get their PAC texted to them. I was with Orange a few years ago, and they SMS'd me the PAC within about 10 minutes - changed policy now!

Exchange is beyond awesome. In terms of what it is, and how it works, nothing is anywhere close to it.. hence why Apple have realised it and integrated it into everything.

Push IMAP doesn't work on anything but Yahoo if I remember. It certainly doesn't push out on the current iPhone.. checks every x minutes. I use Microsoft Exchange though, so ActiveSync for me! ;)

You need to get your PAC from Orange. When you sign a new contract with another company, give them that PAC and your number, and they'll port it across.

Yea, Mini's are legendry.. but, I look at Mum's iMac and just want one of those instead! Heh.

I was fuming. Even more pissed off when people I worked with, who just bought one as none-o2 customers, just went straight through the checkout process and "Thanks for your order"! Rediculous.

The issue I have with Macrumors is.. everyone seems about 10-15 years old, and PROPER full on fanboys. They just can't see past the whole Apple thing.. Heh. I mean, who'd get upset at not being able to pre-order an iPhone? ;)

I know what they are.. Hardly another level from the iPhone.. Windows Mobile is dreadful in terms of UI experience. The onscreen keyboard is useless without a stylus on most.. and the ones with a keyboard are just massive. They're OK.. but they aren't at the level of the iPhone. ;)

Hmm, they are defo doing upgrades to iPhone from none-iPhone. And the post above this one seems to suggest they're doing them instore now due to the mess today.

Oooh. Well.. Mum went into CPW and they said they can upgrade them - they have a load in their warehouse.

Local O2 shop don't know what time they open on Friday. They also don't know how many they're getting in. So, I'm going there for 8:02am (I've read somewhere that some stores open then) and just standing there.
