    Sky Box Down, anyone help?

Had a look at the dish? Is it hanging off your wall or something? :p Heavy winds or anything recently? Edit: Seen your edit - go round everyone who has Sky in your building and see if it's working.

Haha, about right for Virgin 10Mb ;)

    Bored so...

Not too bad. Upload is pretty poor.. but I guess that's a Virgin Broadband package thing.. On Up to 2Mb? You're using the Dublin server tho - are you in Ireland?

    Bored so...

Hmm, doesn't look right to me. The download is too high compared to the upload IMO. I *guess* you're using a proxy and the 67Mb you're seeing is over the LAN (it's caching the download from someone else who's done it previously).. the upload isn't being cached, hence the 2.6Mb reading.. which...

    Remote Site, Broadband DSL

Ah.. swines.. ahwell.. the load balanced is OK.. their bonded was OK, but I guess it caused issues - the one I used seemed fine. Easynet are your best bet.. SureStream connection.. bond a couple of SDSLs together.. but you're looking at around £399 a month (I think that's 2Mb) etc with a £995...

    Remote Site, Broadband DSL

Loads offer Bonded DSL. How much money have you got? You could look at an Easynet solution, depending on the exchange. They bond SDSL together (SureStream) which works well. In terms of normal ADSL bonded, Nildram spring to mind (I setup a Cisco router the other day for a bonded Nildram)

    Need a new TV/Monitor

A standard "TV" will probably look awful on a PC compared to a proper monitor. As McBunny said, you'd be better off getting say the 30" Dell, with VGA/DVI etc and also HDMI for external inputs.

Wireless cable DSL router - which one?

"Cable DSL" doesn't really exist. Do you have Virgin Cable Broadband or a BT line with a DSL service on it?

    Laptop Vs Computer (Poll)

Both. Actually getting work done == Desktop Sitting in front of TV/In Bed == Laptop. My laptop pretty much gets used for internet usage only.. (MSN, Browsing, E-mails) If I wanna get real work done, I always usually use my desktop. I have looked at the idea of docking my laptop (I have a...

Is it free to phone an 0845 number from a mobile?

Generally, included minutes only include UK geographic and UK mobile numbers. 08* numbers always get charged.

3G is worth the upgrade alone. Battery life is fine.. I hammer my phone, and it still lasts a day, and that's without docking it at all.

    New iPhone launch today

I can get just over a day, but I charge it every night to make sure.. or dock it to a laptop/PC if it starts getting to about 1/3rd battery. That's Exchange Push, Wifi auto connecting at home and work, 3G/Edge etc out and about.

    iphone and 02 question.......?

You get unlimited data on 3G/Edge/GPRS and also unlimited access to "The Cloud" and "BTOpenZone". It also connects to any other Wifi network you have access to. (Home, work, etc)
