we stuck it on for a laugh, went up and down the road, then took it off as it felt like it was just bogging it's tits off. Plus they look ghey with the sparkly 'Hillpower' written across the front of it. Basically just a poor copy of a Ph1 airbox.
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
Mental day.. some brilliant drifts, Adam is the true DK with that long drift on corner 3... can hear us giggling like school girls.
The idea is to have something that's versatile. fast road, yet can be dropped on it's arse and look good when I'm skint and want to save fuel.
Thank you, I like it too.
I think the rear end looks better with a phase 2 rear bumper, but as I have both, I can always swap and change I suppose...
TBF.. there isn't going to be much happening over winter, apart from buying coilies and little things. most, if not everything when it starts to dry up/warm up.. then again, I'm sometime impatient, and will prob just whack the coilies on straight away.
First things, first - new Dephaser...

I've just read this all the way through while I should have been working... I'm pretty certain I want a SC kit now. Although I'm going to wait a while, save up, and do it a lot cheaper.
Awesome pics, but I'm sure I can see sparkle-power induction kit on Adam's in one of the first pics, and then a phase1 in the next...
looking good though boys, Adam needs to cut that back part off his inlet though.
Just looking at that rear beam comparison picture, are you absolutely sure nothing has bent on the car? As the bracket on the right with a bolt going through it is it as at a pretty epic angle. Also, pocket that the strut seems to sit in is also at a pretty extreme angle to standard too, so...
