Banging noise, could be engine mount. Vibrates under load, and bangs if you change gear aggressively. Changing mine tomorrow as it has sheared. £50 on ebay. Other than that it sounds like an engine problem, it wouldn't' be intermittent though if it was a slipped timing belt though, it'd be loud...

Mines getting some much needed attention this weekend if f0xy is free to help me. New driveshaft and engine mount along with sorting out the dodgy fitment of my front bumper. Now worse thanks to reversing off a curb on NYE and it catching. So don't' go too low! haha

This happened to me a few months ago, it's not gone off since. Was RR'd at RST and had no obvious running issues, and has run fine since. Yet to plug it into diagnostics though.

Service history not tell you that? Any second hand RS clio will have had a bit of a rattling at some stage. As long as it runs and drives well, has had regular services and belts changed you can't really go wrong.

Originally a powerfail, had it modified when it snapped. It was originally a stealth powerflow, but had the tip changed to a straight cut 2 1/4 inch (same diameter as teh rest of the sustem). It naturally sits at a slight angle as the tip is welded on straight (as you can see in the pic below)...

Basically this. Coilovers are cheaper than a decent set of wheels, so best option.
