Yup that's one of the reasons why I sold it, I felt like a piece of china in a shop full of bulls when I was driving it as other motorists simply didn't care for my car as much as I did. The main thing is to never park it in a public area (unless you can see it)!

Cool, well despite your young age it sounds like you would be well positioned to own one so fair play to you. I'm sure you've done some research inot ownership, the main thing is to make sure you don't t**t the panels / kit as it is seriously expensive to repair ;)

Having owned a vee I am quite well positioned to say that whilst they are great cars you really have to think about the practicalities / costs of owning one before parting with your hard earned cash. IMO they really are best suited to 30+ year olds who can afford to run them as a weekend...

That's really bad, sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, we live in a country full of complete arseholes who prey on anything shiny that they can't afford. It's a sad state of affairs but anyone who considers that a car is more than something that takes them from A to B needs to carefully...

Got you, yup it has / had a personalised pressed metal plates ending 'DEC'. Just in the process of transferring them back to a 54 reg. Small world!

Which car? The V6 or the 182?

I carefully considered both and went for the 182 purely on a value for money basis.
