+1 AAS just had mine done last week went for the subtle noise approach sounds nice even from inside the car not loud although one of the tails pipes needs straightening, expensive but it's more local than travelling to Dorset for K-Tec should things go wrong
Was beginning to think that every clio I see isn't on here for a minute. I was following the very scenic detour for the A19 so don't know the area so couldn't put a name to the place seen you. It's not clean now started to rain by the time I got to the M25 not a happy bunny.
Spotted last night around 8 ish passed on one of the many roundabouts on the A19 diversion route through Peterlee, you were 2 cars behind another black clio.
We may pass again some day, next time I see a trophy along the front or those areas I'll flash my lights - with my luck probably be some one else saying who' that bugg3r.
Tend to spot a few out and about but they never seem to be on here when spotted.
Might pop through Delaval and along sea front if the weather's fine as back off to work tomorrow night down south so a slow casual drive through all the road works on M1.
Well after all this time I think I can say I've been spotted woo hoo :D
mmm need to change avatar at somepoint to...
tend to head through Delaval on a night on a slow drive home if been kicked out early by the other half. Just come back from weekend in Scotland and car was covered in mud (now quickly washed) due to detours around county lanes because of a couple of accidents. Seen yours at last minute...
Yep their staying did consider getting the 182 wheels done black but may impact on selling the car when/if the time comes to say goodbye :(
and a thanks to all those who like the bullets - I think the white sets the orange off nicely :D
They scrape their ars3s or have a council who haven't gone mad using their left over cash on 'traffic calming' measures am considering it but just paid out 500 quid for service and MOT repairs at the weekend and have my AAS exhaust to pay for on Friday
Tried the badges all in orange but they looked dull overall, I think the white adds a new contrast to it.
Yes on 17's tried 16's but they just looked lost.
Thanks Kerry :D
The silver/grey fog surrounds were just a one off on a spare set I had aquired tried to match the grey inserts on...
Before anyone starts yes it may need lowering but I like the high raised rear look and as for the front - too many speed bumps like to keep my splitter intact.
Not to the purists liking however it floats my boat just now......
Only addition to come is an AAS Exhaust being fitted Friday...
It's only 197 owners who are moaning cause their cars have now been replaced after 2 and half/three years. They are still going to sell plenty of them. So long as the handling is the similar or better then change is good can't wait to see the Mk4 that was shown in Auto Express a few weeks back...
FUEL RAIL Guard that chunk of aliminium on the front of the engine. The bolts tend to shear for some reason even though it's only bolted to the engine block, mines come loose twice.
Cause the NEW style badge is smaller (assuming you're looking for New Style) just make sure you dry run its position on the boot to make sure your happy with it.
When fitted mine, I aligned the RENAULT bit half way up the registration plate so it was in line with CLIO on the other side looks...
Already asked Renault if they did thumb inserts and they told me no and that I'd have to buy they whole steering wheel......... they weren't very helpful so found a whole steering wheel with intact inserts (+ unmelted grip) on ebay.
New Clio Sport Advert just been on TV car looks pants in silver but the rear is definately improved by the exhaust styling. Think black will be the colour of choice for this model.
