I find the standard mounts fine. Yes they don't last forever, but they're hardly expensive and it's a 10 min job to swap them over.
If the exhaust can't flex and causes damage as a result, it would probably be more costly than replacing mounts every so often.
This was on a 51 plate IIRC. The steering was the only thing that let it down for me!
When I got back in the Trophy I thought the power steering had stopped working...
Never really been a fan of Imprezas, but I borrowed one yesterday whilst my car was having some work done and loved it! The one I drove wasn't particularly quick either so can only imagine one with more power would be even better. Decided I will definitely own one at some point.
Getting back...
Would love the RenaultSport Sabelt wheel, I'm just not sure my OCD could cope with the top half being blue :o
Quite like the look of this one-

Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Genuinely gutted for you mate!
I was only reading your progress thread the other day and admiring your car. You clearly spent so much time and money on it!
Really hope they find who took it.
Most owners of Trophy's with mileage that low are wanting £6k+. How many actually sell them at that kind of price though I don't know!!
If this is picked up for £5,000 or less, which I suspect it could be, it's a bargain for somebody (assuming it's as good as they say it is).
How about this one mate?

That's what I'm looking to get for my Trophy and I'll probably replace the Sabelt button in the middle with a plain black one. Hopefully it will look fairly OEM.
Is low mileage an important factor for you? Because you are basically paying a £2k premium for that one, just because it hasn't done many miles.
It looks ok though, but one thing to bear in mind is that there's no mention of the dampers being refurbished, which will cost in the region of £400...
Saw a Trophy at Tesco in Ashby-de-la-Zouch last night, can't remember the exact time, probably around 8pm.
Had a private plate starting F12.
Guessing you're on here?
Mine says "Dispatching Now" with Amazon.
There's a small games shop near to me that usually lets people have pre-orders as they arrive in stock (generally a couple of days before release). I guess it's how they get their business. Wish I'd been bothered to go there and pre-order GTA 5 now!
Looks very tidy!
What's up with the O/S fog light or is it just the photo?
I just changed the rear number plate light on mine, it has made a big difference for £7 so well worth it...
