:o The fact that uve topped it up with water might have something to do with it! Coolant & antifreeze should be put in the coolant expansion tank, especially with Renault engines running at high temps anyway IMO.

Is Turtle Wax Colour Plus any good? When it says polishing wax, does it actually protect the car as good as simple wax?

Just been informed by a user that the leak near my downpipe plastic cover (underneath the engine bay) is actually gearbox oil. Has any1 had this problem? Any1 know where the leak is probably from? Any1 had theirs fixed? Could this explain my gears becoming stiffer to change? Thanx

So all it is i have to do is smooth the inner rim? Looks like ill have to DIY with the wire brush idea soon as no1 can do it. Ill then have to get them laquared, & tyres fitted. BLAGGGG!

The tilt of the road maybe? I know it sounds stupid but thought mine did it untill tried heavy breaking on a VERY flat surface & it was fine, just that we drive a lot of the time on a left sloping road IMO. I can tell the difference with 2 passengers on the left side too!

Yeah mine does it but stays in gear fine. I thought all mounts were revised and made flexible for reliability in the phase 2s due to the phase 1s mounts being frequently replaced?

I cant find any bodyshops thatll do them! :o Need an engineering company to do them then get them laquared then tyres re-fitted. BLAGGG! Any 1 know a bodyshop or place where i can get them done with-out having to go to a tyre fitting centre, then an engeneering company, then a bodyshop, then...

Well why does it work if u tap the gauge a few times then?

Just a hot gearbox probably. Does it do it if u drive normally then floor it, if not then it is probably just ur box overheating i think.

Can u actually get that bodykit BTW?

If that were me id get wheels similar to the V6 as its body seems to be shaped to suit the OZ 1s aswell. Will u need spacers to make the wheels look reasonable? What colour and in what style (rally, or show)?

I only want the inner rim sandblasted so it will have air-tight seal so it wont make a difference to the way the wheel looks from the out-side.

IKs are mint for above 60mph accerating though! The forced ones (ITG, PiperX Viper comes out next month for Clio 16v) will be mint IMO.

Get 1 for sound. Dont get 1 for performance unless ur gonna spend nearly 300 notes on a self contained forced IK IMO.

If K-Tec say the 175lbs should be alright & they can beat Dampertechs price of 450 including VAT and delivery then ill order from them as they should sort me out if i have problems with the spring rates. Do Clio 16vs have VERY strong standard shocks? As this would account for having only 175lb...

I had a Mk3 u cheecky git! A little work such as a bad boy bonnet & Kahn alloys on a GTi spec Mk3 & they can look very smart IMO. Jimbos looks like a Mk3 for this angle BenR. ;)
