Be interesting to see the graph, is there a loss of power or torque compared to standard anywhere on the rev range?
As said, breaking a car is a lot of hassle and a lot of time spent dealing with time wasters and posting parts. It will get you more money though.
You could advertise it for a quick sale and easily make a quick profit. IIRC you didn't pay alot for the car.

Late reply I admit but it's only 300 quid more and 120 a year to tax. I bought it thinking I'd sell it easy, need to get it up on AT anyway.
Nick, I think Daniels advice is spot on, all French cars with sunroofs seem to leak so best off just to seal it up.
Couldve had my Focus for not much more! Won't get 60mpg but it'll do 50 with twice the power and the boot shuts!
Surely you failsport guys could get the cambelt done cheaply? Can't be anywhere near as expensive as a sport.
If you remove them you have to remove seats and belts to pass.
All belts are tested so will need to be fixed or removed. I can't help with the pre tensioner question I'm afraid.
