    Going back to this... The modified front struts held up perfectly at Rockingham the other week and show no more signs of wear. This is with running slicks too, so plenty of stress on them. I added 3mm to each mounting face of the shock so increased the overall thickness by 6mm. More importantly...

    Exactly right. There's no way I could run around in mine daily. It generally sits untouched in the garage between trackdays. I get absolutely zero enjoyment from driving it on the road! So I bought le Meg avec b00st :cool:

    Some money been spent on this page :( Where/when are you able to hear the flywheel 'ticking', just when under the car or is it quite obvious? What gives away that the flywheel is worn other than the ticking, does it feel different to drive/pull away? I saw the wanted post for an R26 box...

    You can't just use a longer fork, you'll need the bracket to lift the clutch cable aswell as the larger pivot bush. Parts can be 172 or Volvo, Volvo part numbers are kicking about somewhere but I don't have them to hand. Worth noting that you'll need to take the gearbox off in order to change...

    Yep, they snap quite often, especially if not routed properly. Always use genuine cables too.

    Yeah stuck on, pretty stubborn but it'll come. Had to clay mine to get the last of the sticky off. Heat it up, that helps.

    Yep, Ph2's have the newer style badge on the right, ph1's have the 1*2 style on the left. I removed my M E G A N E lettering and it cleaned the back end up nicely :)

    Cheers both :) I'm heading over to Birchdown on Thursday for 5yr cambelt & aux belt change, so I'll get it done after that. Probably when the next RSTuning/TDF group buy happens.
