Deb, I also felt it was huge as I'm tiny too - what height are you?? As at 5ft myself with the seat up as far as it would go I felt I had limited vision over the dash which seemed far too high?

Yeah it is useable through the 182 windscreen but I'm not convinced after playing with mine today that it is perfect, I had to put it in the middle as it wasn't picking up a signal on the right. Will have to play with it more to know I guess. I've got the TT 510.

it's the 510! The TT screen is displaying this (maybe it's not Portuguese?) Deseja ligar-se a'Computador and I can choose either nao or sim but I need to get the bloody thing in English...

Yes lol - its not showing a device code - just a pic of a pc... and why doesnt the manual tell you to activate it :S crappy bloody manual. TomTom Home on the Mac has crashed 3 times. Make that 4 times...

lol well basic stuff... why does the manual not go through a step by step set up... why does the installation poster not have any text and doesn't explain all the steps... what is the product card and what do I have to activate with it and how... where do I stick the SD card... oh and...

But as mentioned in my thread, everyone seems to say that it is only required on the older TT versions and that the new versions ie the 510 dont need it?

Have a look in my thread, I thought they weren't needed with the 510 as that is the one I'm going to order?? Thought it was just the older versions of TomTom it was needed on?? I read conflicting reviews on it on Amazon though saying that :S...

I buy new and keep them 3-4 years but I get sort of itchy feet around 2 years and start thinking of others...

Mine had a bit of a phase of not always starting first time but it seems to have got better lately :S

Yeah I'm not worried about using new tyres if I do a track day, the thing Im more bothered about is the handling of the car when they are very low... or what I think is low :S there isnt really any difference in the marker to the tyre now, just a slight bit so I'll change them now regardless I...
