I completely agree, if you can justify the expense then why not, my point was more aimed at people who cant afford expensive brakes and just to inform them that they aren't needed.
So you are buying track/race brake pads just in case a kid runs out in front of you...
Brembo OEM pads provide more than enough braking performance for most situations and only cost about £30.
Clio brakes are very good as standard and will stop faster than the average car, spending £200 making...
