right, im in the process of fitting my suspension, iv removed the 2 bolds, to get the strut off my car, when i have come un do the top bolt on the top of the strut, the whole shocker is turning :(...

i can understand what your saying about harder to lower etc, but you have put 2inch bigger wheels and there isnt 11cm arch gap on a std clio and you dont have that much tyre in there

i like the black clio, thing is its not the lowest in the uk buy a long shot, theres many people on the saxo sports club etc running around 130mm at the rear with f**k all arches, removed fuel fillers and bumpstops on 17s
and there covering all tyre and a few cm of alloy

iv just orderd my apex kit and i want slammed, i orderd 50mm, as the aperntly do 30mm and 50mm, so iwent for the 50mm
the code on my box says sp150 4020 60

Ben j go to a profesional mate, if ur anywhere near the north east, i know a lad called chris, hes a ripspeed mechanic and is trained to do jobs like that properly, he will ajust your tortion bar for 30 pounds, if your not to far away

just started my car up 2nite, dont drive the 16v at all, for the time being as im sorting a few bits out,
when the light began to fliker as i turned them on, then it made a small noise and has now gone out! :(

but i dont know if its the same with the clio, but there is a very precise way now, where u can lower in exactly mm, by resetting the trailing arm height and reiserting the tortion bars at that high, using a tape measure to get the desired drop...

nite icon do u mean 55 at the rear lol? as the backs quite a bit lower than the front, like the colour btw, my ca will be ending up something simlar :)

id have loved 1 around 80k on it as most of the probs have been sorted and its not 2 hig, mine runs well for milleage
