Yeah, I used the micro adjustment on the 50d for a few lenses, not sure I've done it for the 7d, not noticed any major issues though and I've taken about 10,000 photos I think.

Yeah, for me it has to have the whole us/uk thing to make it useful as I watch equal amounts of both, if a us show is on sky a few weeks after the us, I'll normally watch it on there instead of acquiring it for example.

They f**ked with the xxD though when they released the 60d without the metal body, 7d is really the properly replacement for the 50d IMO. I have the 17-55 f2.8 lens and it is very good.
