Well I just got about 30 seconds of light out of teh screen, then we get this
I've booted into BIOS too so it's not software related.
Can inverters overheat? Something is starting up normally, then timing out :S
Looks better doesn't it :)
b*****d rear brake pad warning light came on last week though, need to get that sorted out over xmas. Don't think I need discs thankfully!
Yeah that's them, they seem to unscrew themselves as well lol, the amount of times I've gone to take one apart and the screws only have a few threads held in.
Good machines though!
We have 80 or so R60e (IBM/Lenovo) at work, they've lasted about 6 years so far! Great laptops. Finding a lot are breaking at the hinges though, common fault.
How much is the Ferrari? I'll buy you one if its a reasonable price.
Checked the bank last night and it was 5.5 million :| Even though I have 140 cars! So I bought myself a few flush Ferraris and made a F40 do 250mph :D

Like most I touch type so sometimes struggle with laptop keyboards, especially those with the numeric keypad but...
Hmm, everyone is entitled to an opinion though eh? I wouldn't buy the Acer over the Asus or the Lenovo but they aren't as bad as they are being made out to be.
lolwut
Acer are pretty epic for the money, especially with the spec they give. We've had a few reliability issues at work with them but modern HPs are f**king dog meat!
Fair enough I am talking about sub £400 laptops here and Acer are a damn site better that HP for equivalent money.
P.s, we...
