Ha outer edges and running contis, theres a shocker. Contis always seem to wear way on the outer edge.
Done on my mams ford ka and my girlfriends dads Audi A4. Middle of tread still had around 3mm but outer edges were shot.
My last set of fronts saw nearly 10k and they were semi slicks.
The pzeros before that on the front saw just shy of 14k.
That was running -1.5 camber and they were both given proper abuse on a daily basis.

Don't worry too much about having no cup packs, just means you have more choice for aftermarket suspension. Cup splitter and spoiler are easily added or could even add a trophy spoiler.
Not a bad price overall, tyres are worth around £60 each roughly.
Probably cheaper just buying a battered set of alloys or steelies from the scrap yard though.
To be honest you can lol. I drove my clio in some quite deep stuff last year. Once the tread is covered in snow the grip they offer is unreal. You can pretty much hammer the brakes on full without locking up and sliding.
Plus depending on your mileage they will see you through about 3-4 winters.
Plenty of choice, upper budget around £70-80 a tyre you have Pirelli Pzero nero which are my personal favourites, but theres also Michelin ps3s, Conti sport contact 3s, Dunlops, Bridgestones and then mid range approx £50-60 a tyre you have Uniroyal rain sport 2s and the new rainsport 3s...
