Get to halfords and have a read of a haynes while you're there. They have wiring diagrams in the back. Ignition lives are generally yellow if thats what you mean.

If the box is ok then swap the old one. ECU and loom can both be swapped.

Straight swap is easy. If you can hold a spanner then get stuck in yourself, it's all common sense.

ECU is good, cheers Andy. Revs to 7.2k warm as it should, 6.5ish cold. Engine runs sweet. Mega chuffed! It just took some more miles and slipping to burn away whatever was on the clutch before. Still doing it a tiny bit, but infinitely better than it was. Boxster S byeeeeeeeeeeeeee :o
